My poor baby!

Ryan was admitted to the hospital this afternoon. He was diagnosed with pneumonia on Sunday, and has not been getting better. His oxygen levels were low at the doctor's office today, so they decided to admit him. He is sleeping now, with oxygen to help keep his levels up. He is also on an IV for fluids and his medication. We will probably be here at least two nights. Please pray that God will heal him, and that we can bring him home quickly! Pray also for me, that I can be strong for Ryan and we can get through this! I know that God is at work, and it is times like this where I feel so blessed to be part of His family! We have felt so much love and support and I am so thankful for everyone who has reached out to us!

BORED!!

I haven't been feeling well all week, just feeling really tired. Wednesday night, I was feeling just completely zapped of energy but I did drag myself to work on Thursday. Friday morning, I was feeling awful. Yep, I have strep throat. So, I've been confined to my bedroom for the last day, so I won't infect Ryan and Jamie. The worst part is listening to Ryan cry for Mommy and not be able to go to him. I'm on an antibiotic, so hopefully I'll start feeling better soon, but I'm getting SO bored!!! Thank goodness for Jamie's laptop, or I would be going nuts!

Amazing!

A friend asked me awhile back if I would help coach her and be there in the delivery room when she had her baby. Really and truly, this was a little out of my comfort zone. I am the person who couldn't even watch the birthing videos! But, I said I would be there to support her and her husband if they wanted me there. Well, Thursday morning, I got a call that she was in labor! I went to the hospital after Jamie got off of work and was there in the room when the baby was born that evening! I saw the whole thing, and was even holding one of her legs at one point. It was absolutely amazing. Disgusting, yes. But it is amazing! I feel blessed that I was invited to share in their special moment!

Wordless Wednesday

Poor baby!

Ryan woke up on Saturday with a low fever. Sunday, his fever was way up to almost 102 and Tylenol wasn't doing the job! We went into the doctor's today and the poor little guy has a double ear infection. He's feeling pretty awful right now--hopefully the antibiotics will do their job quickly. It would help if Ryan didn't spit out all the medicine!!

Cruising!!

Ryan has become much more adventurous in the last few weeks! He is standing up and then letting go. He thinks this is really funny and is very pleased with himself when he does it! He has also really taken off with the cruising. He is making his way all over and even started using his walking toy. Check it out!

Super Bowl!

What a great game!!! I don't think that there has been a superbowl game that good in awhile!! I was pulling for the Giants, so obviously I was glad they won! Even though I wanted the Giants to win, I figured that the Patriots would win. Jamie, who likes to play devil's advocate, decided to root for the Patriots, mostly just to tick everyone else off and so he could rub it in at the end of the game! Kinda backfired for him when the Giants won and everyone rubbed it in HIS face! It was super fun and we had a great time. Ryan wasn't sure why everyone was yelling and was a little overwhelmed by the whole thing! He did great and fell asleep on the way home!
