What a talker!

I picked Nicholas up today and he was telling me about his day. Seriously--he is 22 months old and he tells me about his day? Here's how it went:
Nicholas: I pay ba-ball (I play basketball)
Me: You played basketball today?
Nicholas: Uh-huh. I bounce it.
Me: Oh, you bounced it?
Nicholas: Yeah, I soot (shoot) it!

He also told me today, "Want daddy home!" He is also very into his cowboy hat. He wears it constantly and will walk up to you, tip his hat and say, "How-ee pokes!" (Howdy folks!")

Ryan is also full of funny sayings. Yesterday, we were listening to Sesame Street music in the car and Kermit the Frog was lamenting being green. Ryan says, "I think he's right, mom. It's not easy."

Nicholas quotes!

Nicholas is getting so big! He is talking up a storm--using sentences and being generally adorable most of the time. Yesterday, he was climbing on a chair and making a bunch of noise and I said, "Nicholas, what are you doing?" He says, "I skeaming" (screaming). Too funny!
We were also doing puzzles yesterday and every time we started over he would say, "I dump it out!"
He is also really starting to be independent and we are hearing a lot of "I did it!" "I got it" or "No, I do it!"
