Going Crazy!

You know when you have one of those days and everything seems to go wrong, all at the same time?? Well, today is that day!
Ryan is finishing his lunch and ends his meal by throwing the remaining spaghetti noodles on the floor. He is covered with sauce and I clean him up, then get the broom for the noodles. As I start to sweep, I see....ANTS! I hate ants more than anything! So, I get out the flour. I read that if you put a line of flour on the floor, the ants won't cross it. True--they won't but then you have flour all over your floor.
So, my floor is floured and I call Jamie to find the location of the ant spray. I go get the spray out of the garage and come back to find that Ryan is stomping through the flour. So, I clean his shoes and since I don't really feel great about spraying poison with Ryan there, we go outside. He wanted in his sandbox and so I left him there for a second while I sprayed the ants.
I come back to check on him, and he's grunting....yep, filling his pants. I wasn't sure if he was done, so I went back in, opened windows and then came back out and started to play in the sand with him--forgetting that he has a huge messy.
So, I get him out of the sand and he is filthy. As I brush him off, I remember the messy diaper! So, I take him in and change him. There is sand all over the changing table and Ryan has a little redness on his bottom, so I get the Desitin out. As I am finishing changing him, Ryan sticks his hands in the Desitin and rubs it in his hair. Great!
So, I clean Ryan's hands and hair and put him down. Then, I work on cleaning the changing table and finally go to wash my hands.
I come out of the restroom, hands clean and see Ryan. He is sitting in the hallway with both hands in the Vaseline.
Seriously??? (Remember, my kitchen floor is still covered with flour and ant spray!)
So, I start sweeping the flour (the ants are dead) and look up to find Ryan trying to unplug the fan. And there's still an hour 'til naptime!
Wouldn't worry so much about my floury sticky floor, but I have a sitter coming in an hour to watch Ryan while I go to the doctor. She may wonder why my child is covered with sand, Vaseline and Desitin and why my kitchen floor has a sticky flour paste on it.
Oh, and Jamie? No, I haven't gotten your softball stuff washed yet.
