I struggle on a daily basis to keep up with my house. I read this week that husbands add 7 hours of extra housework per week! Probably true--especially since I didn't marry the neatest guy in the world! Anyway, I have started and quit Fly Lady so many times! The problem is, I always try to start when my house is a disaster and I go nuts cleaning and then quit because I wear myself out.
I am giving it another go! My house is relatively neat at the moment--(don't look in the closets!), and I feel like I can start right now with my baby steps and be okay! I went to sleep with a shiny sink last night, which is the first step! I am going back to work tomorrow and need to have a system to keep up with the clutter and mess, because I am losing 4 hours of my time at home!
If any of you do Fly Lady, I would love to hear your hints! I am using my blog to keep me accountable on this, because I tend to start and be really excited, then quit when things get overwhelming. Okay, I bet Fly Lady would say that I need to go get dressed to my shoes, and quit blogging!

i woke up yesterday after having been sick and i looked at my sink piled with dishes and just about lost it. i love having a clean sink in the mornings, it starts my day off right. good luck with the fly lady. i too have tried many times, in the end i am just happy to have a clean sink.
I had never heard of the FlyLady until I read your blog - I think I'll give it a try soon! Silly me thought that once I had a baby and dropped down to part-time work I would have a spotless house - ha, ha, ha, ha!
